I’m only a sophomore, so luckily I still have time to do a lot of things at Indiana University. But to be honest, time just flies by when you’re in Bloomington. Classes take up so much time that before you know it, you’re graduating and starting a real life with a job (unless you were an art major) and everything. But there are still a few things that I’d like to do before I graduate from IU. Here’s my list, in order:
Why couldn't I ride across the finish line at Little 500?

Ride in Little 500
Sure, riding around on a bike for 200 laps might not sound like much fun, but this is the biggest party weekend in America. That being said, why would I want to miss it to ride on a bike? Well, I guess you’d have to go to a race to understand. The atmosphere is electric, the fans go crazy, and you become a part of Indiana University history. It might mean training for a whole year, but it would be great to tell your kids you rode in the biggest and most storied bike race/intramural event in all of America. Don’t know much about the Little 500 race?
Check out the Little 500 history.

Be in Straight No Chaser
This is one of those cheesy college male A Capella groups, but they actually rock. Started in 1996, the group is a favorite for students and alumni. Let me guess, you don’t think that this could actually entertain you? Watch this
Straight No Chaser video and tell me that you’re no entertained.

Play a game of H.O.R.S.E. at Assembly Hall
I’m still trying to work out the logistics of how to pull this one off, but I think if you befriend an assistant coach or a manager, you may be able to get down on the IU basketball home court somehow. Maybe if I buy the manager dinner, he could even get me down there to play H.O.R.S.E. with
Eric Gordon… how cool would that be?
Sure, this list may be a bit ambitious, but isn’t college the place for dreams? If you have any connections, please feel free to help me out. Also, if you have any more suggestions, my list is always growing.
