Featured YouTube Video *Politics Edition*: HuckChuckFacts
The presidential debates have started and candidates hoping to win a bid for the 2008 election have started to run ads on television and on the web. The Democratic candidates have gotten a lot of the attention, as Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have been waging a war for almost 9 months. On the Republican side, however, there seems to be a bit more uncertainty. Rudy Giuliani is perhaps the most well known of the candidates, but his morals and personal life don't match up well with many conservatives. This has allowed for the emergence of other candidates, like Mitt Romney and John Edwards. However, I have a new favorite Republican, and its because of his campaign video.
Huckabee's decision to get Norris' endorsement may sway voters.
By now, I'm sure many of you have heard of Mike Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor and Christian minister. Some of you, however, probably haven't seen his most recent campaign video, "HuckChuckFacts". Is it just me, or is it about time that someone tried to appeal to America's younger generation? Not only does this video give you some ideas about the things Mike Huckabee stands for, it makes you want to learn more about him. The marketing idea is ingenious: who do people trust more that Chuck Norris? Nobody. If Huckabee has Chuck Norris' vote, Huckabee has my vote.
Chuck Norris represents the American dream. He's smart, handsome, buff, and he can shoot guns well. Mike Huckabee can make that American dream a reality for all of us. I like that a candidate is having some lighthearted fun for once. Kudos, Huckabee. Great video and good luck in your campaign.
