Rick Greenspan's book rights: winning titles for a story of losing

I love IU athletics. I live for both the crimson and the cream. The Hoosier spirit flows through my body. Okay, I’ll stop.

Any of the above statements seem a bit insincere? Unfortunately, one needs to remain tongue-in-cheek with such sentiments as the Indiana University Athletic Department’s character continues to plummet.

The most recent development was former Athletic Director Rick Greenspan’s resignation, resulting from the Sampson recruiting scandal that has plagued Bloomington for months. While the move seemed somewhat selfless at first glance, a look at his severance package, including a hefty buyout, reveals otherwise.

One item of note is the book deal he’s entitled to—he can write whatever he wants about the entire scandal, relentlessly yanking skeletons out of every athletic department closet. Below are some book title suggestions for Rick, though I’m sure he’s already got the entire thing written already.

Okay, okay...so mine suck. You got any better titles? Post them below.

I hope he finds another job and doesn't feel the need to make some tell-all book. Just let it be!
