The Hoosiers hope to extend their luck against Louisville

Leading up to last week's match against then No. 9 Notre Dame, the Hoosiers had scored just three first half goals all season. That number was matched in the first half of the Notre Dame match, sealing the most highly anticipated match of the Hoosiers' season to date.

Tonight has now become the most anticipated match of the season against No. 13 Louisville. The Cardinals come in with a 9-3-2 record overall. They are traveling to Bloomington straight off of a loss to Villanova this past weekend. They moved back in the rankings this week form 9 to 13. All this while Indiana moved back into the national rankings with their big win. The Hoosiers are currently ranked 22nd in the country.

It was a good week if you were a Hoosier player named Kevin last week. Kevin Noschang received the honor of Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week. This was due to his powerful offensive performance, scoring what became the game-winning goal against Notre Dame. Kevin Alston was named to the College Soccer News team of the week last week. Kevin scored a monster goal from a quarter of the field away from the net. He also played stellar defense in the 3-1 win over the Fighting Irish.

Tonight's match is one the Hoosiers cannot afford to lose if they want to make a serious push down the stretch. The game begins at 7:30pm at Bill Armstrong stadium. If you can't make it to the field- no worries. The game will be streamed live on IUHoosiers.com.

I highly encourage anyone who likes soccer to go check out the talented Hoosier team. After all, they are the best team at this university.
