Is the rivalry with Purdue or Illinois bigger now?

I'm sure most of you have noticed that the IU vs. Illinois rivalry has been heating up over the last year or so. It obviously started with the Eric Gordon saga. But Bruce Weber isn't going to let it die. And apparently neither are Hoosier fans.

So, just out of curiosity, which rivalry is bigger?

This is not a real question. Saying IU-Purdue is smaller than IU-Illinois is like saying UNC-Duke is smaller than UNC-North Carolina Community College.

IU vs Purdue

Its got to be Purdue. Same state. Recruiting the same players plus years of being rivals. Illinois might be seen as a rival now forever with the Gordon thing. But I think someday the Orange Crush will move on. Most of their hard feelings are probably jealousy anyway
