IU basketball's GPA--ridiculous

I'm sick of this stuff coming out. We had a 2.13 team GPA last semester. That's ridiculous.

I think people are way too soft on the players. We let them off easy because they're "kids" and because they were "distracted". That's crap. They are young adults. They should be student athletes, not just athletes.

I've missed two weeks of class before and I didn't drop a full letter grade. Not an excuse I am buying. They shouldn't have skipped class then anyways.

More fallout from Sampson. The players were smart enough to know Sampson didn`t follow the rules, so they thought why do we need to. They probably thought he could cheat and get grades fixed.

They knew they wouldn't be playing basketball here another year so they said f*ck it, why do we need to study? So sad, it's that sense of entitlement again.

Gotta love this response from Inside the Hall:

I would buy this as an excuse until I remember my last semester at IU; one in which I didn’t go to class ever, drank four nights a week and managed a GPA much higher than 2.13. And I didn’t have any tutors.

The moral of this story is that everyone should major in journalism.

You've missed 2 weeks of class and haven't dropped a letter grade? What classes are you taking?
