Eric Gordon's Pre-Draft Results

Just found this from the Sonics Insider:

Indiana’s Eric Gordon measured at 6-2 without shoes, and 6-3 ¼ in shoes. Gordon had a 40-inch max vertical, benched 185 pounds 15 times, ran 10.81 in the lane agility and 3.01 in the floor sprint.

I didn't realize he was only 6-2, he IS really undersized for a shooting guard. He killed it in the tests but he's going to need that athleticism (1st in bench, agility) to make up for his height disadvantage.

Also notable, Michael Beasley ran a 2.99 in the floor sprint and blew away the other top picks. That's pretty sick.

Eric Gordon was one of if not the most athletic player at the pre-draft combine from what I've been reading. He's going to do really well in the NBA. He struggled down the stretch here because he got injured, but take away that and he's leading the nation in scoring, we got a few rounds deeper into the tourney, and he's looking at a top three spot easily. His strength and overall size are going to make him a formidable guard in the pros.

Gordon's gonna be sick in the NBA. He's just too big, fast, and athletic to be stopped. if he has his shot back, he just needs to develop his handle some more and he'll be an all-star.

If Gordon was a full 6'4" he would be ridiculous. Even at 6'2", he's going to be great though.

You're right, he had such high expectations, and he was living up to them until he got injured. I almost wish he didn't downplay the injury so much, because it was obviously affecting his play, and I think a lot of fans forgot about it.
