Why couldn't Capobianco have been here this year??

Seriously, I feel like this year and last year both we were just missing one piece, and that was a strong power forward who could come in, give DJ a rest, and match up with bigger teams. He'll be great when he comes here, but if we still had White, just think of what we could have done!

I'm going to be a smartass...you're a smartass.

Capobianco would have been huge for us last year or this year...Stemler couldn't hold his own against other legit power forwards, and when Ben Allen transferred we lost a big obstacle on defense.

It doesn't sound to me like Capobianco is going to be a major contributer right away. In fact, he sounds a lot like Lance... I mean, he's 6-8 and only 220... He's going to get pushed around a lot...

At least he's not afraid to go on the inside though. He's a true post presence... and after he hits the weights, we'll be golden.

Capobianco's still a junior in high school!!! He's definitely NOT the same 6'8" 220-lb that Lance Stemler is. Some of the sites say he is more around 230-240, and he's still got a lot of development in front of him. Just look at the pictures and videos, you can just tell that he will be able to muscle underneath the basket like Stemler never could.

I agree, I don't think Capobianco is a perimeter player like Lance was. It's unfortunate that Stemler had to play out of position so much, I feel like he would have been much more effective at the three.
