Crean to bring in Tim Buckley and Bennie Seltzer

Buckley is from Ball State, former a former Sampson assistant...

I don't want a former Sampson guy.. no way.

But Buckley is a great pickup.

Here's another article about it... check out the bottom of the page.

Hey now, Seltzer's a great assistant. There's no proof or anything that he broke rules while he was with Sampson.

It's ridiculous to not want a guy just because he is associated with Sampson. Notice that Seltzer didn't follow Sampson here. I think both Buckley and Seltzer would be huge for our program.

Notice that Seltzer was with Sampson when he committed violations at Oklahoma... not a good indicator.

Doesn't mean that he participated. Neither Dakich nor McCallum were implicated in the Sampson disaster and they were both on his staff. Don't make bad assumptions.

Good point there... it is possible to work for a guy without taking on all of his bad characteristics.

Seems like both guys are great recruiters and Buckley especially has great ties to our area. They sound like good choices.

I'm excited, they bring all the chemistry they had at Marquette here. They will get great results.

Has he officially decided on any of them yet or is this just hearsay?
