Should Dan Dakich be on Tom Crean's coaching staff?

Just an interesting situation here--the interim coach could be on the new head coach's staff. Should he be?

Thumbs down

After the statements he made, that he "should" be the head coach, how could he consider staying on as assistant? I could see trouble along the way, maybe I'm wrong.

Maybe he thinks that if he goes on as an assistant, he could then take over the head coach role later? I dunno...

I really doubt that he'd do it though. Crean wouldn't want him.

Hell no. Dakich would probably go on some crazy power trip again and eff up our program.

If he wants to yes. Dakich is an Indiana guy with a good basketball mind, he just doesn't have the ability to connect with players that a head coach needs.

If Dakich wants it? Why should we be giving him so much say? It's Crean's choice.

This would be a disaster waiting to happen. Not a good idea... too much jealousy.

Dakich is good enough that he will get another head coaching gig. It's time to leave this dream behind. Hard, but true.

Haha... where? After falling so hard, I don't know that IPFW would even take him.

What does he add to Crean's staff? Nothing that others can't add, except history with the program. I just think there would be too many clashing egos if this happened.
