Did the Taber experiment work last week?

Should we try to start him this week? I know a lot of people think we should start of quick w/ EJ, but i think we need to start off solid. Did the aforementioned "Taber experiment" work last week?

Well...he played decent defense, but his athleticism is still a major problem. I think he knows where he should be, but if he can't get there fast enough, what's the point?

The point is he rebounds better than DeAndre Thomas and Lance Stemler, blocks out, and plays better defense then both. Sometimes fundamentals just beat talent and athleticism.

Kyle Taber should get a lot more playing time. Do you remember his clutch put-back late in the game? Who else would have done that from the power forward spot for IU? No one. Taber deserves to play.

I would still take Lance Stemler against faster teams and teams that play zone because of his outside shooting ability. And neither will challenge Ellis for his spot in the lineup.

He might keep up pace wise, but inbound he's muy terrible and to me looks out of place. Taber has a real decent hustle that me likey

Think about how important he could be in IU's rematch against Wisconsin this week--the Badgers killed us because of rebounding. Taber blocks out and could help us to get a different result this time around.

I totally agree. Kyle Taber could be the difference-maker against Wisconsin for IU this time around. Hope Sampson at least tries it.

He's a good rebounder but he is prone to give up a few open threes on the perimeter, unfortunately.
