You think Van Treese will walk on with the Hoosiers?

THIS is why over-speculation and media hype treatment of young athletes is just overkill.

We saw it happen with Gordon a lil bit. There's a clear line from a 14 yr old athlete (fearless) and one who has been through high school, regardless of their base abilities.

Van Treese was ALL OVER the recruiting sites, and now this? This guy isn't even in the rivals 150 for the '09 class. SMH

Anyone who was giving him nods are out of the picture- ucla, ohio state, louisville, kansas, and us.

Now we've got franklin, cheek and watford on the radar...this guy may be WALKING ON?!?! I say he's most likely to head here due to his connections w/ capo and his brother...but this is just sad.

Van Treese had plenty of chances to say yes to IU. He seemed to think UCLA or Kansas were going to offer something the Hoosiers could`nt. I`ve said all along jump on board or get left behind. Coach Crean will not play games. Louisville is not a bad option for him close enough for family to come to games.
