IU ranked 13th in ESPN's basketball prestige rankings

ESPN ranked all the basketball programs in the NCAA since the 1984-85 season. Our Indiana squad came in at No. 13 on the list. Personally, I thought that it was a little low for us. Certainly we would've been higher on the all-time list. What are your thoughts?

I saw this too. If they would have included the 70's, IU would have been second or third, but much of IU's success hasn't come recently, (we had a huge sweet sixteen drought with Knight starting in the early 90s until he was fired). Add in KS and MD's eras, and we don't have much postseason success.

I agree our success has not been what it once was. Hopefully if they do this again in 6 years we will be where we should be. I think we will be better the next few years then people think, but maybe not good enough to climb in the rankings.

They had a pretty good analysis of why we ended up there... but teams like UNLV above us? I dunno...
