Why is Bloomington PD cracking down on underage drinkers at the bars?
I mean, of course it's illegal, but why so much attention to it lately? I just think that there are bigger problems in the world than underage drinking...
A. To make a ton of money through ticketing.
B. To promote IU's own self image.
C. To stop from getting sued when some 18 year old idiot gets drunk at Kilroys then kills himself driving home.
D. To give cops something to do besides arrest meth smokers.
IUPD/Excise strictness comes in phases, but it really is kind of suprising. Usually they hold off until April...

I could not agree more man. When you say "nothing better to do," that's about it...there aren't murders to be solved or any bigger issues than drinking and townie methheads
